Mark Johnson is an American lawyer, businessman, and politician. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, he represents District 1 in northwestern Minnesota as a member of the Minnesota Senate.
Early life and career
Johnson was raised near Mentor, Minnesota. He attended Bethel University and University of North Dakota, graduating with a law degree. He and his wife, Skyler, are partners at Sage Legal in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. He is also a partner with his father of the family business, Johnson Concrete Construction.[1]
Minnesota Senate
Johnson was elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016, succeeding retiring 34-year Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) incumbent LeRoy Stumpf.
Personal life
Johnson and his wife, Skyler, have three children. They have resided in East Grand Forks, Minnesota since 2012.[1]
