The following have served as Presidents of the Minnesota Senate.

From statehood until 1973, the Lieutenant Governor served as president. Not all Lieutenant Governors served at the same time as the Senate was in session. Those who served as President were:

1Fischbach became Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota on January 3, 2018, after previous Lt. Gov. Tina Smith resigned, to be sworn in to the United States Senate. Fischbach has claimed that she can serve as Lieutenant Governor and continue to serve in the Minnesota Senate, however, this has been disputed, and afer controversial debates she resigned on May 25, 2018.
