Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is an engineering college, located in Rohini, Delhi, India. Established in 1999 by Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society, the institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.[2]

Admission
Admission to all courses is through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Admission also happens by "management quota" a term used for some seats are reserved for students who despite not clearing the CET to get admission by directly paying a certain amount which varies according to the branch of engineering
Campus
MAIT’s relatively small campus is composed of 10 blocks with a learning resource centre.[2] Classrooms are air conditioned. It has a multi-storey boy's hostel, girl's hostel is not available in the campus, a multi-storey library, amphitheatre, main auditorium, mini auditorium, two canteens and a gym for the hostel boys.
Cultural and non-academic activities
TechSurge & Mridang are the annual techno-cultural festivals of MAIT. TechSurge conjures up a vivid spectrum of science and technology.
Apart from the annual festivals, the college has various societies like DOTC, Codematrix, IOSD, ACM, IEEE:MAIT, TechTronix and Jataayu to help the students develop the required skills in their fields. AAYAAM is the cultural society of the college.
Rankings
MAIT has been ranked as the 10th best private engineering institute in India by the Dataquest T-School Survey.[3] MAIT was ranked 98 among engineering colleges in India by Outlook India in 2015.[4]
