Plot

Chandra (Jeetendra) is a young handsome college going boy, son of Ram Kumar (again Jeetendra) and Sita (Moushumi Chatterjee). Chandra has a love affair with Gita Sinha (Kajal Kiran) who is the daughter of Dr.Sinha (Om Shiv Puri). Both Chandra and Geeta love each other and they want to get married. When Dr.Sinha comes to know about this marriage proposal he immediately rejects the proposal and claims that Chandru is a bastard and not the son of Sita, his mother. Ram Kumar confesses that long ago when he was going through a bad patch in life, he had met Radha (Rekha) a prostitute, whom he had rescued from a drunk customer. Since then both of them got very close to each other. Ram Kumar was married to Sita and had to hide this relationship from her. One day Ram came to know Radha is pregnant. Now how did Ram disclose this to his wife Sita? Does she accept her son? Above all, does Dr. Sinha give permission to Chandra and Gita's marriage?
