Maanagara Kaaval is a 1991 Tamil action thriller film directed by M. Thiyagarajan. The film stars Vijayakanth and Suman Ranganathan in lead roles. This is 150th film of AVM Productions. It is loosely based on Mammootty starrer 1 August. The movie was a Blockbuster. It was dubbed in Telegu as City Police.[2]

ACP Subhash IPS (Vijayakanth) as a super cop to protect the life of Indian Prime Minister Rupavathy (Lakshmi).
