Trivia

Another film with the same title was released just one week before the release of this film. It was a dubbed film, the first dubbed film in Tamil film industry, that was dubbed from Satya Harishchandra, a Kannada film. Film historian Randor Guy said the dubbed film succeeded better.[1]
