Lucky Street is the first studio album by American rock band Go Radio. Produced by Tim O'Heir and mixed by James Paul Wisner, Lucky Street was released March 1, 2011 on Fearless Records.[2]

Background

In the July 2010 Issue of Alternative Press Jason Lancaster revealed that he had begun writing for Go Radio's debut LP.

On August 31, 2010 in Brooklyn, NY the band headed into the studio with Tim O’Heir (The All-American Rejects, Hot Rod Circuit, The Starting Line, Say Anything) and finished recording on September 29, 2010.

Release

The first single, "Any Other Heart", was released January 31, 2011.[3] It became available for streaming on AbsolutePunk as an ABSOLUTExclusive February 1, 2011.[4] On February 25, 2011, Go Radio streamed the entire album on their Myspace. On June 6, 2011 the music video premiered on Vevo and was added to the Fearless Records YouTube channel.[5][6]

The second single, "The Truth Is" was released February 14, 2011[7] and on that same day was made available for streaming on RAGGED as a RAGGED Exclusive.[8] In late September and early October, the band toured Australia as part of the Soundwave Counter-Revolution festival.[9] They supported Yellowcard on their headlining US tour in October and November.[10] Between March and May 2012, the group embarked on headlining US tour, dubbed the Lucky Street Tour. They were supported by There For Tomorrow, Tyler Carter, Simple as Surgery and Ivory Lights.[11]

Lucky Street was very well received by critics, with Drew Beringer of AbsolutePunk saying "From the soaring opener to the powerful closing number, Lucky Street bleeds with emotion. Add in Jason Lancaster's one-of-kind vocals, and it should come as no surprise that Go Radio has created one of the best rock records of 2011."[15]
