The Los Angeles Valiant (stylized as VΛLIΛNT) are an American professional Overwatch esports team based in Los Angeles, California. The Valiant compete in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's Pacific Division. The team are one of twelve founding members of the Overwatch League.
Franchise history
2016-2017:Immortals
Under the Immortals brand the team placed 1st at NGE Winter Premier[9], Overwatch Carbon Series[10], and Overwatch Contenders 2017 Season 0 North America[11].
2017-present Los Angeles Valient
On July 12, 2017, Overwatch developer Activision Blizzard officially announced that esports organization Immortals had acquired a Los Angeles-based Overwatch League franchise spot.[12] Shortly afterwards in August, the unnamed franchise learnt they would have to share L.A. after KSE Esports purchased a second franchise spot in the region.[13] On October 23, they revealed their franchise name as the Los Angeles Valiant.[4]
