Chia-Jen Lo (born April 7, 1986), is a Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher for the Fubon Guardians of the Chinese Professional Baseball League.

Early career

Lo played for the Chinese Taipei national baseball team in the 2008 Summer Olympics[1] and the 2009 World Baseball Classic.[2]

Professional career

Houston Astros

On October 31, 2008, Lo signed with the Houston Astros.[3]

Lo attended the Houston Astros' 2010 Spring Training, but was sent down to the minor leagues soon after.

Lo was recalled by the Astros on July 29, 2013.[4] He made his major league debut on July 31, 2013, pitching one scoreless inning of relief and recording his first career strikeout in an 11–0 win over the Baltimore Orioles.

On May 27, 2014, Lo was released by the Astros.[5]

He signed with the EDA Rhinos in 2014.
