Lithuania was represented by Linas and Simona with the song "What's Happened to Your Love?" at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest semi-final which took place on 12 May in Istanbul, Turkey. "What's Happened to Your Love?" was chosen as the Lithuanian entry at the national final on 14 February.[1] The Lithuanian final was preceded by a number of semi finals, which took place on a weekly basis between January 3 and February 7. The Lithuanian final was notable for abandoning any sifting out process of the received entries, with every entry that got submitted getting to participate in a televised semi final. The results in the semi finals were decided by televoting, while the final was a mixture of jury and televoting. There was a 3-way tie in the final, leading to a tie-break situation where 5 jury members each had 1 vote, leading to a win for Linas and Simona.
