Because of financing and leasing arrangements, this may not correspond to the eventual operator. Press releases and the resulting media coverage may disagree with these numbers if they report the operator rather than the leasing company that contractually takes delivery, or if they report orders that lack the level of firm contractual commitment represented by these data.
  2. As of 2018, Boeing's tabulation of annual order numbers in the cited sources only tracks orders currently pending or completed. Orders that were subsequently cancelled are not included.
