Leppington is a hamlet in the Ryedale District of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 12 miles (19 km) north-east from the centre of the city and county town of York.

Leppington forms part of the civil parish of Scrayingham.

The nearest railway station is at Malton, 7 miles (11 km) to the north.

At the north of Leppington is the Grade II listed 17th-century Leppington Grange Barn.[1]

In 1823 Leppington was in the civil parish of Scrayinham, and the Wapentake of Buckrose in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Population at the time was 129.[2]
