Khye Bumsa

Khye Bumsa was a 13th-century prince[1] from the Minyak House in Kham in Eastern Tibet.[2] He had a divine revelation one night instructing him to travel south to seek his fortunes and reached Sikkim where he established his lineage. His descendants were later to become the chogyals of Sikkim.
