Kawana is a suburb of Rockhampton in the Rockhampton Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] At the 2011 census, Kawana had a population of 4,657.[3]
Geography
Kawana is about eight kilometres north of the Rockhampton central business district.
Education
Glenmore State school opened on 17 October 1889 and in 2014 the school celebrated its 125-year anniversary.[4][5][6] Glenmore State High School opened on 28 January 1975.[5]
