Kaprin is a Tehsil in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. The people of the town have very high religious & moral values. Islam is the only religion followed. It has been a hub of education from the early days of independence of India. The town is empowered with the modern day amenities like banking, hospital (upcoming), police station (upcoming) and other public establishments. Kaprin is a Tehsil in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir State, India. It is located 10 km towards South from District headquarters Shopian. 10 km from Kulgam and 62 km from State capital Srinagar at an Altitude of 1739 meters (5705 feet) above sea level.
