Kangavar County (Persian: شهرستان کنگاور, Šahrestâne Kangâvar[1]) is a county in Kermanshah Province in Iran, part of what is unofficially referred to as Iranian Kurdistan. The capital of the county is Kangavar. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 80,215, in 19,825 families.[2] The county has one district: the Central District. The county has two cities: Kangavar & Gowdin.
