Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Korba is a Co-educational Residential School located in Korba, Chhattisgarh, India. It was established in 17 December 2000 by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to promote and develop talented, bright and gifted children predominantly from rural areas who may otherwise be denied good educational opportunities.
It is one of the approximately 593 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in India, located in Korba, Chhattisgarh. It is about 25 kilometers from the Korba City.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are Indian schools for talented children. They form a part of the system of gifted education. The objectives of the scheme were to provide good quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from the rural areas, without regard to their family's socio-economic condition. It offers free education to all students who get selected through the admission process which includes an All India Entrance Exam called Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST), held at district level.
