Jausiers (Vivaro-Alpine: Jausièr) is a commune in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in southeastern France. In 1805, renowned villager Jacques Arnaud and his brothers left France for Mexico seeking riches but ended up establishing the village of Arnaudville, LA.
