Japan–San Marino relations refers to the bilateral relations of Japan and the Republic of San Marino, with diplomatic relations being formally established between the two countries in 1996. However, visits of Japanese and Sammarinese officials to each other's countries had occurred since the 1950s, with an honorary consulate of San Marino being established in Japan in 1961, later raised to honorary consulate general in 1998.

San Marino has an embassy in Tokyo and a consulate in Kobe, while Japan has a consulate general in the City of San Marino.[1]
