Professional activity

In 2010, James Kramer, René Quintero and Mauricio Martínez define the structure of the conglomerate Black Ecco Group when they merge their IT companies: Computianguis SA de C.V. and Movil Evolution SA de C.V. In this year James Kramer becomes Chief Financial Officer of Black Ecco Group [4]. In 2015 the taco restaurant La Chinampa is recognized as a business image by the National Institute of the Entrepreneur (Instituto Nacional del Emprendedor) and James Kramer and his business partners are selected to publicize this case at “La Semana Nacional del Emprendedor 2015[5]. Afterwards, he is invited by Noticias México al Día to share his experiences about the business management of La Chinampa[7].

In 2017 the Black Ecco Group structure evolves and James Kramer and his business partners decide to redefine-it as a Communitarian Private Equity. This model gathers and mixes characteristics of Private Equity, Business incubator and Community. The Community is capital because the conglomerate conceives itself as a millennial group because the enterprise offers an emotional salary. This is about to give non-economic rewards with the intention of stimulate integration and coexistence among the collaborators. Black Ecco Group is aware of the importance of sharing economy; this is why it promotes the “Win- Win” dynamic in which the whole conglomerate has benefits, because the efforts of the collaborators are recognized at the moment of becoming business partners. James Kramer explains with his own words the meaning of this circle: “Win-Win”, which is partly the success of Black Ecco Group philosophy:

Evidentemente estamos viviendo en la generación de la economía compartida. Hoy más que nunca nos hemos dado cuenta que mientras más compartes, más te toca y ya era hora que esta nueva filosofía llegara a los fondos de inversión.

Clearly we are living the generation of the share economy. Today more than ever we have already realized that more you share more you get. Finally, it was time for this new philosophy to reach investment funds., [8].
