The settlement of Iracoubo, seat of the commune, is located between the settlement of Sinnamary and the hamlet of Organabo (located within the commune of Iracoubo).

The village of Bellevue is 5 km west of Iracoubo.

History

There is a parish church dating from 1893 in the town.
