International School of Berne

International School of Berne (ISBerne) is an international school in Gümligen, Muri bei Bern, Switzerland.[1] It serves early childhood through grade 12.[2]

In August 2015 the groundbreaking for its new campus occurred.[3]

The School of Berne is also known to have schooled North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un secretly during his childhood.

Accreditation

ISBerne's s (upper) secondary education (Middle and High School) is neither approved as a Gymnasium by the bureau for gymnasial and vocational education MBA (Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt MBA), administration for education (Erziehungsdirektion), canton of Berne,[4] nor by the Swiss Federal State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI).[5]
