Iddaru Iddare (English: Both are Both Only) is a 1990 Telugu Action drama film, produced by Akkineni Venkat and Yarllagada Surendra under Annapurna Studios & S.S. Creations banner[2] and directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy.[3] It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna in the lead roles[4] and music composed by Raj-Koti.[5] The film was recorded as a flop at the box office.[6]
Plot
Justice Madhusudhan Rao (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) is a disciple of Justice. Once he has to give the judgment over a criminal Ramadasu (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Hence Ramadasu kidnaps Madhusudhan Rao's child Ravi and threatens him. But he does not yield to it and gives a death sentence. So, Ramadasu orders his henchman Jayaram (Ranganath) to eliminate the child. But Jayaram is a kind-hearted person who leaves the child alive and gives him to a woman called Ramanamma (Rama Prabha) for nurture. Years roll by, Ravi (Akkineni Nagarjuna) grows up as a rowdy, whenever the father & son meet they quarrel with each other and stand like enemies in different paths. Ravi falls in love with Aruna (Ramya Krishna) Madhusudhan Rao's niece. But Madhusudhan Rao objects it because of Ravi's background, his wife Lakshmi (K.R.Vijaya) requests him to accept for their alliance. Soon, Madhusudhan Rao reaches Ravi and asks him to change his way but he rejects. Parallelly, Ramadasu has been escaped from punishment and became a huge gangster by changing his name to Thulasi Das. He creates a lot of troubles to his dealers whose head is Jayaram. Jayaram uses Ravi as a weapon to fight against Thulasi Das. Ravi becomes a tough nut to him. So, Thulasi Das implicate him in a murder case and sends him to jail. Here Jayaram recognizes Ravi as Madhusudhan Rao's son and reveals the secret to him. Even then Madhusudhan Rao gives death sentence to Ravi. Before leaving Ravi challenges that he will definitely eliminate his enemies. To protect his son Madhusudhan Rao makes him released from the prison on his assurance and takes him to a secret place in a forest. Where he tries to reform him with his ruthless behavior. Meanwhile, Aruna reaches the forest, both of them try to escape. At the same time, Thulasi Das men attack Ravi when Madhusudhan Rao comes in between and he is severely wounded. Now Ravi also comes to know the truth and he completely changes. Finally, both of them unite and see the end of baddies.
