Kirai Dada is a 1987 Telugu film drama produced by V. Doraswamy Raju under V.M.C Productions and directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni, Khusboo, Krishnam Raju and Jaya Sudha in the lead roles, with music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was recorded as a Hit at the box office. This film is a remake of the Hindi movie Jaal (1986).[1][2]

Plot

Vijay (Nagarjuna) is an unemployed guy suffering from family problems. Rani Malini, alias Arunabai (Jaya Sudha), a Kothi dancer appoints him as a spy against Naga Raja Varma (Rao Gopala Rao), a Zamindar of an estate. Vijay goes to his estate and gets a job, Naga Raja Varma's daughter Rekha (Khusboo) and Naga Raja Varma's henchman Koti's (Sridhar) daughter Lata (Amala Akkineni) love Vijay, but Vijay loves Lata. One day, Vijay comes to know the truth that Naga Raja Varma's younger brother Krishna Raja Varma (Krishnam Raju) is Malini's husband who was killed by Naga Raja Varma; and Vijay's father Satyam (Murali Mohan) is trapped in the case and Lata is Malini's daughter. The rest of the story is about how Vijay defeats Naga Raja Varma in the climax.
