Home Sweetie Home (also known as Home Sweetie Home Walang Kapares) (English: The Unique Home Sweetie Home) is a Philippine situational comedy on ABS-CBN aired every Saturday. It is topbilled by John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga. Later on, Piolo Pascual has been officially added due to John Lloyd’s absence. The show tackles a newly married couple's lives, and their ways to address the needs of a growing typical Filipino household.[2] It first aired on January 5, 2014, on ABS-CBN, and worldwide on TFC.[3] Due to its episodes producing in a random order, the SDTV and HDTV formats are randomly selected. Meanwhile, the SDTV has difficulty becoming an HDTV.

The show is a reunion project for Cruz and Gonzaga.[4] Previously, they both starred in My Amnesia Girl, a Star Cinema romance comedy film, which premiered in 2010.[5]

Premise

Home Sweetie Home is the story of Romeo (John Lloyd Cruz) and Julie (Toni Gonzaga), who live together with the latter's family under one roof. Julie's mother (Sandy Andolong) undoubtedly does not favor Romeo as her son-in-law because of his reputation as a ladies man, and prefers Jay-Jay (Jason Gainza) whom she considers fit for her daughter, seeing him as responsible. Still, the two decided to marry each other. However, in turn, Romeo has to deal with Julie's family in the best way he knows how.[6]
