The Hoffman House, on U.S. Route 27 near Lancaster, Kentucky, was built around 1850. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.[1]

It includes Greek Revival and Federal architecture.[1]

The original stone house was about 25 by 20 feet (7.6 m × 6.1 m) in plan; the house was expanded by an addition plus enclosure of a porch. [2]

During the American Civil War the house "was the base of a large group of Confederates."[2]
