Havstein Church in Trondheim

Havstein church was originally built as an annex for Strinda Church (Strinda kirke). The church seats about 200 people. The stone church was built in a long church style in 1857 and designed by the architects Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and Wilhelm von Hanno. In 1900, the church received a wooden west tower designed by architect Erik Selnes. The original rooftop was rebuilt in 1926. [2][3]

The altarpiece was designed in 1863 by sculptor Ole Laulo (1825-1901). The stained glass in church is from 1968 and was made by artist Carsten Lien (1894-1970). [4] [5] [6]
