Happy Hour is the fifteenth studio album by Australian musician Tommy Emmanuel with California Jazz picker Jim Nichols. The album was originally called Chet Lag as a tribute to Chet Atkins. In 2006, Emmanuel wrote and recorded three songs in a similar style and renamed the album to Happy Hour. Happy Hour features Emmanuel's song "Happy Hour" and a previously unreleased version of "Sanitarium Shuffle" featuring Tommy on every instrument.[1]
Reception
Amazon reviewer said "Happy Hour is spontaneity, versatility, and musicianship at the highest level, by two of the greatest fingerpickers in the world today."[1]
