Dare to Be Different is the fourth studio album by Australian musician Tommy Emmanuel. Released in July 1990, the album peaked at number 13 on the ARIA Charts; becoming his first top twenty album. The album was certified platinum in Australia in 1992.[2]
At the ARIA Music Awards of 1991, the album was nominated for ARIA Award for Best Adult Contemporary Album, losing out to Come in Spinner[3]
