Halil İbrahim Sönmez (born 1 October 1990) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a winger for TFF First League club İstanbulspor.[1]

In 2015-16 season, Sönmez clocks in at 35 km/h against Akhisar Belediyespor match's 83" minutes with 70 meters outrun.[2][3][4][5] He became one of top 10 fastest footballers in the world. Arjen Robben is fastest with 37 km/h and Gareth Bale is second placed with 36.9 km/h.
