Amir Hadžiahmetović (Bosnian pronunciation: [ǎːmir xǎdʒiaxmeːtoʋitɕ]; born 8 March 1997) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Süper Lig club Konyaspor and the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team.

Club career

Early career

Hadžiahmetović started his career at Željezničar, with whom he also signed his first professional contract.[1] He debuted professionally in a league game against Olimpic on 2 August 2014 at the age of 17.[2] Later that season, he scored his first goal as a professional in a comfortable win over Mladost DK.[3]

Konyaspor

On 1 February 2016, Hadžiahmetović signed a four-and-a-half year deal with Turkish side Konyaspor, for an undisclosed transfer fee, reported to be in the region of €500,000.[4] A week later, he debuted for his new club against Beşiktaş on 10 February.[5] He scored his first goal for Konyaspor against Gaziantepspor on 19 November 2016.[6]

On 31 May 2017, Hadžiahmetović helped Konyaspor win first title in club's history, by beating İstanbul Başakşehir in Turkish Cup final after penalties.[7] A couple of months later, he won another trophy, as Konyaspor won Turkish Super Cup against Beşiktaş.[8]

International career

Hadžiahmetović came through all of Bosnia and Herzegovina's youth selections.[9]
