The Guelph Nighthawks are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, that competes in the Canadian Elite Basketball League.[1] The team is announced to begin the 2019 season playing home games at the Sleeman Centere.

History

On June 12, 2018, it was announced that the team will be called the Guelph Nighthawks. Guelph joins Hamilton, Edmonton, Niagara, Saskatchewan (Saskatoon), and Fraser Valley (Abbotsford) as one of the six original franchises for the inaugural season of the CEBL.[2]
