Gorogobius stevcici (English name: Stevcic's goby) is a species of gobies endemic to the Atlantic Ocean along the coast of São Tomé and Príncipe surrounding the island of São Tomé and Ilhéu das Rolas, where it occurs in areas to a depth around 15 to 40 m (49 to 131 ft). They are one of two species of Gorogobius which belongs to the family Gobiidae, the other being Gorogobius nigricinctus.

Description

The species was named and described by Kovacic and Schliewen in 2008 alongside Didogobius amicuscaridis.[2]

The fish grows to a maximum of 3.3 cm in length for males and 2.33 cm for females.[3]

The fish is not dangerous to humans.
