Didogobius amicuscardis is a species of gobies endemic to São Tomé Island, where it occurs in areas to a depth around 7 to 25 m (23 to 82 ft) .
Description
The species was named and described by Kovacic and Schliewen in 2008.[2]
The fish grows to a maximum of 3.2 cm in length.[3]
The fish are found in cave entrances of the shrimp-like Axiopsis serratifrons, its specific name is a compound noun which means "friend of shrimps" in reference to this association,[4] and feed on sea snails from the families Scissurellidae, Rissoidae, and Limacinidae.[3]
