Gharwali Uparwali Aur Sunny is an Indian fantasy series originally telecast on Star Plus in 2004 and is the Second Season of Indian television’s first-ever and hugely popular fantasy-comedy franchise Gharwali Uparwali which originally aired on Star Plus from 2000 to 2003. Gharwali Uparwali Aur Sunny is created by Nirja Guleri, the maker of some of the biggest-ever blockbusters in the History of Indian television such as Chandrakanta and Tu Tu Main Main. Gharwali Uparwali Aur Sunny is directed by the award-winning television director Shrey Guleri.[1]

Unlike its predecessor Gharwali Uparwali, which is Indian television’s first ever fantasy-sitcom starring film star Mukul Dev sandwiched between his Gharwali (his wife) and his Uparwali (the ghost of his first wife), Gharwali Uparwali Aur Sunny is the sequel that focuses more on the supernatural fantasy adventures of his son, Sunny.
