Gaushala is a Municipality in Mahottari District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. The municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging existing Nigauli, Ramnagar, Gaushala VDCs.[1][2] At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 10,283 people living in 1916 individual households.[3]
To Promote local culture Gaushala has one FM radio stations Radio Gaushala- 93.6 MHz Which is a Community radio Station.
