Faizabad Junction railway station is a junction railway station in Northern India and is well connected with Mumbai, Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Amritsar, Gorakhpur, Jhansi and Allahabad. Faizabad Junction is one of the two railway junctions in Faizabad city another one is Ayodhya Junction which is situated in the adjacent city of Ayodhya at the south end of Faizabad city on the bank of Ghaghra river (locally known as Saryu river).[1]
