Ayodhya Junction railway station is a railway junction station in Northern India and is well connected with Delhi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Gonda and Gorakhpur. It is one of two railway junctions in the twin city; the other one is Faizabad Junction.

Connectivity

The station is near to Faizabad Railway Station on Faizabad-Akbarpur Railway Station line. Another line crosses Ghaghara River and goes further north to Mankapur Junction.

Currently the station is under expansion of doubling and electrification.
