Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty is a form of minimally invasive endoscopic gastroplasty, in which sutures are made within the stomach using an endoscope inserted through the mouth into the stomach.[1]

It is regarded as an alternative to more invasive forms of bariatric surgery.[2] It is believed to work through inducing changes in gastric physiology.[3]
