Elroy Simon Guckert (May 17, 1900 – September 3, 1940) was an American football and basketball coach. He served as the head football coach at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan from 1925 to 1926, compiling a record of 9–5–2.[1] He was also the head basketball coach at Hillsdale for the 1925–26 season, tallying a mark of 5–9. He was a graduate of Denison University.[2]
Disappearance
Guckert is said to have died when he disappeared from ship in 1940.[3]
