East Kurrajong is a suburb located in the north west Sydney basin, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located in the City of Hawkesbury north of Glossodia and east of Kurrajong.
The suburb extends along a single ridge for 16 km from the foot of the Blue Mountains in the west almost to the Hawkesbury River in the east.
The geology of the ridge is sandstone capped intermittently with shale. Elevation ranges from a little above sea level to approximately 140 m.
