Discovery Familia (previously stylized as DFamilia) is a Spanish language version of family-oriented American satellite and cable television channel Discovery Family. The network launched on August 9, 2007.
The channel airs preschool-intended programming under the block Discovery Kids en Español between the hours of 6 am to 7 pm ET, with family-oriented adult programming (under the Discovery Familia block) airing at 7 pm to 6 am ET.
As of February 2015, approximately 5.8 million American households (5% of households with television) receive Discovery Familia.[1]
