Dhital is a Village Development Committee in Kaski District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,121 persons living in 862 individual households. In this village, various ethnic groups have been living since a long time ago. Probably the history goes back since the start of Kasyap Rishi who used to do meditation in Kaski district. However, we could not find well documented resources to prove it. We can find this kind of mentioning in different scriptures of vedic culture. There are Brahmins, Chettris, Gurung, Sarki, Damai, Kami, Sunar, Giris and Tamang also.[1] Dhital is near Annapurna Himalaya and it is on the route of trekking.
