Deatrick Nichols (born June 8, 1994) is an American football cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Florida.

College career

Nichols was a three-year starter for the South Florida Bulls and was a three time All-American Athletic Conference selection. Over the course of 50 career game, Nichols recorded 175 tackles, 11 INTs (third most in school history), 24 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one sack and 14.5 tackles for loss.[1]

Professional career

Nichols signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2018.[2] Nichols made his NFL debut on September 16, 2018 against the Los Angeles Rams, playing on special teams.[3] He was waived on October 8, 2018 and was re-signed to the practice squad.[4][5]
