Type Raster graphics editor

Dazzle Draw is a raster graphics editor for the Apple IIc and Apple IIe home computers. The program allows users to create bitmap images which can then be printed or used in other programs.

Developed by David Snider[2] and released in 1984[2][3] by Brøderbund Software, the program is similar to MacPaint,[4] released in early 1984. Snider previously wrote the Apple II pinball game David's Midnight Magic.[1]

Dazzle Draw was designed specifically to take advantage of the graphics capabilities of the Apple IIc and Enhanced IIe.[5] The program allows use of 16 colors and supports the creation of automated slide shows.[5] Dazzle Draw sold for $50,[4] cheaper than competitors such as MousePaint, PCPaint, IBM Color Paint (all selling for $100)[4] and MacPaint ($195).
