Darpan Chhaya 2 (Nepali: दर्पण छायाँ २) is 2017 Nepalese Drama,Romantic and Comedy movie with Tulsi Ghimire's direction and this movie is the squeal of old Nepalese movie which was blockbuster and became one of highest-grossing movie of Nepal,Written By Tulsi Ghimire.With Nepalese movie stars Pushpall Khadka,Sahara Karki,Shiv Shrestha and Tulsi Ghimire.^[1][2]

Plot

The movie starts from U.S., where Nisha gets invitation of a musical program from Nepal. She remembers all her friends, specially Aalap and Sargam. Aalap and Sargam loved each other. Aalap is an saxophonist and Sargam is good singer and dancer. They jointly with her other friends plan for a program on the occasion of Golden Jubliee of their college. Among all Aalap plans of tributing to their seniors or ex students. When all agree and decide that Aalap will play saxophone, he ignores as he didn't had one. Then they decide to ask one with Bada, a friend of Aalap's father. After all their problems solved they organise a well planned program which becomes very successful. This leads them an offer of other program from a music company which they reject because Aalap's saxophone was the main zist of their group. Sargam and her friend Keshar starts to plan for arranging money for a new saxophone which they plan to gift Aalap in his birthday. But Sargam's father disapproves all this and asks Sargam to stay away from Aalap as he was not wealthy as them. Ignoring that Sargam and Keshar goes to music company and accepts advance for a program in which they have to go to remote areas, collect ancient musical instrument and glamorise it. Aalap is not convinced at first but when he hears name of Gopi Guru, he agrees as Gopi Guru was also a friend of his father. They go to Gopi Guru's place and collect traditional musical instruments. But Sargam finds out that budget was not enough to buy saxophone. Hearing this Gopi Guru's wife give her some money to buy one.

Here,back in Kathmandu Nisha is back. She finds out that Aalap's parents died in an accident. She asks a lawyer about that case but he says that that case is already closed. Then she plans a birthday party for Aalap where she gifts a saxophone to Aalap. This makes Sargam heartbroken. At party when Aalap was playing saxophone,he faints. He is taken to hospital but doctor says it was not a big problem. As they were about to leave hospital,doctor says there's an offer for free health check-up and if anyone of them were interested. Sargam forces Aalap to take it. Nisha also showed interest. As all were leaving Nisha asks doctor to give both test results to her as soon as result comes. They had their tests and Nisha finds that she has got a problem. She asks Aalap to befriend her but he denies because he had a program to organise. As Aalap and his friends start to plan for musical program Nisha threatens them saying that Aalap can't play saxophone. She tries all efforts to stop that program. She even provokes Sargam's father. This create dispute between Sargam and Nisha. Sargam also asks her father to stop interfering their program. Sargam's father asks Nisha to stop doing anything wrong. But there she reaveals that Aalap has got a bone wreckage and it's all because she was responsible for the accident where his parents also died. Coincidentally Aalap hears everything. Sadnned now Aalap asks Sargam if he didn't attended the program. Sargam then says that their and his parents dreams will remain incomplete. On program, Aalap bleeds orally and dies backstage. Sargam follows him to backstage and gets shocked to see him dead. As soon as Nisha and Sargam's dad reach there, they find out that Sargam is also dead.

Soundtrack

Darpan Chhaya 2's music is directed by Nepalese musicians Ranjit Gazmer and Chandan Lomjel.The music has revived very positive feedback from Nepalese people but some people said this is for 80s and 90s people.

The music is sung by well regarded Nepalese singers Rajesh Payal Rai , Melina Rai, Ashok dhamala, Karma Gyaljen, Shiva Pariyar.
