Darko Todorović (Bosnian pronunciation: [dâːrko todǒːroʋitɕ]; born 5 May 1997) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Todorović started his professional career at Sloboda Tuzla, before moving to Red Bull Salzburg in 2018.

A former youth international for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Todorović made his senior international debut in 2018.

Club career

Early career

Todorović came through Sloboda Tuzla's youth academy and made his professional debut on 11 April 2015, in a league game against Zrinjski Mostar. He was 17 years old at the time.[2] On 21 September 2016, he scored his first goal as a professional, which was also a winning goal in a cup tie against Podrinje Janja.[3] Later that season, Todorović scored his first league goal in a home loss against Krupa.[4]

Red Bull Salzburg

On 10 July 2018, Todorović signed a five-year contract with Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg for an undisclosed transfer fee.[5] He debuted as a starter in a convincing cup win on 22 July.[6] On 11 August, he made his league debut, in a victory against Austria Wien.[7]

International career

Todorović was a member of various Bosnia and Herzegovina youth teams throughout the years.[8]

He got his first senior call-up for friendly games against United States and Mexico in January 2018,[9] and debuted in a goalless draw against former on 28 January.[10]
