History
Cox Green School was founded on 1967, and in 1973 was part of a reorganisation of education in Maidenhead. Cox Green School is a 11-18 comprehensive. The school became an Academy on 1 December 2011. This means they work reasonably well with other local schools and share resources to improve the education available in the town. This includes a shared sixth form block. The Sixth Form representatives represent the student body with the role of Head Boy, Girl and their deputies. The school has seven houses and the school ethos is PRIDE: Passion for learning, Respect, Insight into others, Diligence, and Enjoyment[1]
