Cove Brook

Cove Brook is a small brook that rises near Farnborough Airport in Farnborough, Hampshire, England and flows through Southwood Golf Course where it is joined by Marrow Brook and several other smaller streams. It runs north through Cove before joining the River Blackwater at Hawley Meadows near the M3 motorway.[1] The brook is about 4miles Long.

Cove Brook Greenway

Cove Brook Greenway is a leisure facility that runs along the brook; it was provided in the 1990s by Rushmoor Borough Council as an environmental initiative in partnership with the Environment Agency, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.[2] The Environment Agency did major works to re-naturalise the southern section of the brook, which was then running in an artificial concrete channel. Paths, a new bridge and dipping areas with safe access were installed, and the Cove Brook Greenway Group, a volunteer organisation to care for the Greenway, was formed. Herons, kingfishers and several sorts of fish frequent the brook, also Egrets and Signal Crayfish.
