Plot

Srinivas Rao (N. T. Rama Rao) and Sridhar Rao (Jaggayya) are childhood bosom friends. Sridhar Rao is a rich businessman and Srinivas Rao works as his manager. Sridhar Rao has a daughter Aruna (Vanisri), who is more attached to Srinivas Rao. Sridhar Rao’s sister Kasturi (Pushpa Kumari), her husband Nagabhushnam (Rajanala) and their son Rambabu (Rajababu) also live with him. Nagabhushanam wants to make Aruna's marriage with Rambabu to grab the entire property. Nagabhushnam develops rivalry over Srinivas Rao because he is obstructing his way both in office and home. On the other hand, Srinivas Rao has a very affectionate family with a very good wife, Lalitha (Devika) and a blind mother, (Santha Kumari). Once Aruna visits her friend's marriage where she meets her childhood friend Ravi (Shobhan Babu). Ravi works in the air force; both of them fell in love and they unite. The same night, Sridhar Rao gets a heart attack and Srinivas Rao serves him. Aruna comes back and notices that she is pregnant. She writes a letter to Ravi. At the same time, Ravi’s plane crashes and upon hearing this, Aruna collapses. Later she explains to Srinivas Rao about her situation. Srinivas Rao wants to take care of Aruna. He convinces Lalitha and asks her to act like she is pregnant and make his blind mother also believe it. He convinces Sridhar Rao and brings Aruna to his house as a nurse. With the help of Lalitha, Aruna gives birth to the baby. Aruna leaves the baby at Srinivas Rao's house and goes to her father. Srinivas Rao feels relief, but the real problem arises now. Lalitha becomes really pregnant. She also gives birth to the baby. Nagabhushanam senses it, he kidnaps Srinivas Rao's child and threatens Aruna to marry Rambabu. Aruna agrees to do so and she tells her father. Upon hearing this, Sridhar Rao dies. After that, Aruna is forced to insult Srinivas Rao and sends him away. But kind-hearted Srinivas Rao understands that Aruna is behaving in this manner under certain circumstances. Srinivas Rao comes in disguise, breaks up Nagabhushanam's plan and saves Aruna. Ravi who is held by enemies in the air crash also comes back. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the reunion of Ravi & Aruna and Srinivas & Lalitha getting back their baby.
